Florida's Immigration Bill Amended to Provide Religious Liberty Protection

Florida lawmakers have passed SB1718, a sweeping immigration bill aimed at penalizing undocumented migrants. Some Florida pastors and evangelical groups challenged early drafts of the bill, citing religious liberty concerns, and that led to some important changes in the final bill.
