IOC PRESIDENT AT SPECTACULAR OPENING CEREMONY FOR CHINA NATIONAL GAMES IN TIANJIN AND MEETING WITH PRESIDENT OF CHINA XI JINPING

IOC THOMAS BACH WAS IN TIANJIN,ON SUNDAY FOR THE OPENING OF CHINA NATIONAL GAMES. IOC PRESIDENT THOMAS BACH HAD MEETING WITH PRESIDENT OF PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA XI JINPING BEFORE THE SPECTACULAR CEREMONY

During the meeting , the two leaders expressed their commitment to continue with their very close cooperation and they both of discuss for the excellent progress that has already been made on preparations for the Olympic winter Games 2022. The IOC president Thomas bach said that these Games would be "Clean, Green and sustainable".

During the cooperative and friendly meeting of both presidents , they also discuss about the issues rise of mutual interest.

Earlier , the president was in Beijing , where he visited several venues of Olympic Winter Games 2022

Many of them written in draw form on legacy of the Olympic Games Beijing 2008 . Wukesong  Indoor Stadium in which basketball was staged in 2008, it will be the venue for the ice hockey in 2022; while the former Shougang steel work is closed down in run up of the Beijing Games, will be transformed into the venue for Big Air and is also the site of Beijing 2022's innovative Headquaters.

The IOC president said , the Games had a potential and ability "to set a Global benchmark for Future Olympic Games".

Later he met with the president of Beijing Organizing Committee Cai Qi 2012, and the Leadership team, to discuss the Excellent progress of the preparations.

In throughout the trip the IOC president is accompanied by IOC vice president Zaiqing yu , IOC member Li Lingwi and IOC honorary member Timothy Fok.
